However, after teaching for over 18 years, I found that one must first teach a student basic skills before they can truly be “creative” and go on to develop their own personal style. Through a Step-by-Step process, I have developed a method that enables students to first “see” their subject -- then transfer that subject to a line drawing, mix the correct colors (hues), and finally paint a beautiful and complete painting.
